Birding event detail

May 14, 2010
DNR Property-Pond Road

Eight people braved the cold (49 degrees) and raining morning to see a few birds. Mary, Marlene, Marsha, my son Craig from Burlington, WI, my husband Rich and myself in rain coats and umbrellas birded the road to the bay and back. The blue-gray gnatcatcher was sitting on her nest in the poplar tree. The wind was coming across the field from the bay, she picked a spot that was not protected from the wind.
